Race Cancelled As Mark Of Respect
Inter-Club Team Time Trial on Wednesday 13th August 2008
The Inter-club Team Time trial scheduled to take place on Wednesday, August 13 was cancelled as a mark of respect to well known Northern Ireland cyclist, Davy McCall of Maryland Wheelers, who met his untimely end in a cycle race at Nutts Corner. He had been a top class international road and track cyclist who had represented Northern Ireland at the Commonwealth Games and whom some of Lakeland CC club members would have known.
