Mulligan Takes The Spoils For Home Club
Inter-Club 2 (Omagh) on Tuesday 20th May 2008
The second Interclub race took place on Tuesday, May 20 at Omagh. The 32 mile race followed a very hilly route with the last climb up Gortin and then a fast finish down into Omagh. The riders were split into two races, A and B, according to ability.
In the A race, Lakeland had a good night with Kenny Boylan breaking away on the downhill to the finish with Omagh rider, Paul Mulligan. The 1st Cat Omagh rider just pushed Kenny into second place and Dane Dunlop finished in third place. In the B race the impressive form of Alan Magee gained him third place while Keith Johnston came home in fifth.
