On a recent check of Cycling Ulsters vetted persons list I note Lakeland CC only have two members vetted. In effect that means we cannot run any event which includes anyone under 16 unless either myself or Ken Dunlop are present.
With that in mind we intend to raise the profile of the club in the coming months and years by hosting events where anyone can join in and get a taste of cycling and for insurance purposes we need to have more members vetted. We dont want to be in the position where we have to send people away nor cancel events because we havent a vetted member in attendance.

I would appeal to as many as possible to fill it in especially parents and as soon as possible please.
