This year's promotion of the McCann Cup promoted by Omagh Wheelers is now open for pre-entry. This is a highly popular event where the welcome is legendary. The soup and sandwiches post event help attract riders from all over the country. The McCann Cup is sponsored by Hugh McCann Building Contractors and takes place on Sunday 25th April.
Sign-on is from 11.30am at the Halfway House, Tattyreagh Rd, Omagh B122. There are two events on offer - an A1-A3 (100km) race and a separate A4 event (60km).
There will also be another round of the SportActive Women's League which is for women only and will be approximately 48km. The races are limited to 60 riders per event and racing starts at 1.00pm.
