Joining Our Club
Anyone wanting to join our club can do so at any time at Lakeland Bikes on the Tempo Road. Anyone applying online at home must be a paid club member before the club verify the application made by the member.
The price for club membership is £30 (free to new members and anyone under 16)
- A race licence is
- Non competition - £27
- Club competition - £58
- Full competition - £115
- Any junior licence fees will be given on request.
A 50% refund will be given to all third level full time students who are not in receipt of a salary. This must be claimed through Cycling Ireland.
If you require a race licence for the coming year you can log in to the Cycling Ireland website, sign in as a Lakeland member and you can pay on-line. £58 for club competition or £115 for open licence. (For all former members your details will be already there)The next step is to forward your £30 Club membership to myself or John and then we will verify your on-line application. Only then will your licence be processed.
We as a club are liable for any accident or incidents that should happen to an unlicensed rider at any event arranged by the club so I would urge those wishing to take part in any event to renew their licences promptly. 1 Day licences this year are £10 and can be issued if required. In short no licence, no race.
